Fire Safety – Protecting Our Community
Understanding essential fire safety knowledge will help prevent fire emergencies. Topics include kitchen safety, smoke detector rules, grill use, fire pits and brush pile burns, escape plans, wood stove and fireplace safety, fire extinguisher use, and Jackson Fire Department services. This program is presented by Jackson Fire Department Fire Chief, Jay Henry, and other members of the Jackson Fire Department and is FREE.

The Friends of the Whitney Community Center (FWCC) are responsible for Whitney Community Center programming. Four times a year the FWCC produces a catalog of programming open to Jackson and surrounding communities residents and guests.
Location
The Whitney Community Center is located in the center of Jackson and supports Jackson Grammar School activities, community education programming, rentals and other community events and is a great community resource.
