Wilderness Fire Management 101
Learn how to properly manage a campfire from start to finish. You’ll discover the best ways to build and light a campfire, keep it safely contained, choose the right materials for efficient burning, and how to fully extinguish your campfire to leave no trace and prevent wildfires. This program is taught by Mike Cherim, a local guide and owner of Redline Guiding and costs $10.

The Friends of the Whitney Community Center (FWCC) are responsible for Whitney Community Center programming. Four times a year the FWCC produces a catalog of programming open to Jackson and surrounding communities residents and guests.
Location
The Whitney Community Center is located in the center of Jackson and supports Jackson Grammar School activities, community education programming, rentals and other community events and is a great community resource.
