The Friends of the Jackson Public Library’s 2026 Book Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 23th and Sunday, May 24th from 9 am – 3 pm at the Whitney Community Center. Make sure to Mark Your Calendar! There are lots of great books and puzzles for adults and children.
Please note that the Community Yard Sale (including the popular FREE TABLES) will also be taking place on Saturday, May 23th at the Whitney Community Center.

The Jackson Public Library (JPL) strives to serve and sustain our dynamic community. JPL is a place to learn, connect, and grow. All are welcome to attend our free programs and events.
Location
The Whitney Community Center, completed in 2009, is available for a wide variety of activities. The Whitney Foundation funded the construction in its entirety and now the building is managed by the Jackson School District in collaboration with a Whitney Oversight Committee made up of school, town and community members. According to the wishes of Bill and Betty Whitney, it offers a wonderful, multi-use facility available to the local community in addition to the Jackson Grammar School children.
