Block Printing on a Tea Towel
Learn the basics of block printing in this hands-on workshop where you’ll carve your own stamp and use it to create repeating designs on a tea towel. Participants will work with fabric ink, brayers, soft-cut blocks, and carving tools while exploring simple printmaking techniques. Leave with a finished, functional piece and the skills to continue experimenting with block printing at home.

The Friends of the Whitney Community Center (FWCC) are responsible for Whitney Community Center programming. Four times a year the FWCC produces a catalog of programming open to Jackson and surrounding communities residents and guests.
Location
The Whitney Community Center is located in the center of Jackson and supports Jackson Grammar School activities, community education programming, rentals and other community events and is a great community resource.
