An Evening with Ana Hebra Flaster
Join us for a compelling evening with New Hampshire resident and author, Ana Hebra Flaster, as she shares her powerful personal story. Flaster will recount her experience of being forced from her Cuban barrio for opposing communism and her subsequent flight to the United States. Drawing from her book, Property of the Revolution: From a Cuban Barrio to a New Hampshire Mill Town, Flaster will discuss how, despite its imperfections, she believes the U.S. offers unparalleled opportunities to pursue one’s dreams. This promises to be an insightful event, with an opportunity for questions and answers following her presentation.
This FREE program is hosted by the Jackson Public Library, White Birch Books, and the Friends of the Whitney Community Center.
