Follow Pierpont’s remarkable journey from teacher to whaler to purser’s clerk, organist, photographer, and Confederate Army musician as we uncover how this son of an Abolitionist composed one of America’s most beloved holiday songs.

The Friends of the Whitney Community Center (FWCC) are responsible for Whitney Community Center programming. Four times a year the FWCC produces a catalog of programming open to Jackson and surrounding communities residents and guests.
Location
The Whitney Community Center is located in the center of Jackson and supports Jackson Grammar School activities, community education programming, rentals and other community events and is a great community resource.
