A Jackson Artistic Legacy: Mike Morton and Chris Muzerall
Chris Muzerall is a locally raised artist who grew up in the vibrant Jackson art world of the 80’s. His mother, Myke Morton was a career artist whose work spanned 40 years of art, from southwestern desert scenes to valley favorites. Influenced by other local prominent artists such as David Baker and Ernie Brown, Chris and his mother found their own styles of portraying the local scenery.
Chris will present a talk and a showing of works representing these artists and his own artworks. He will share stories about growing up in such a rich artistic environment and how it has influenced his own artistic journey.
