New Hampshire authors and photographers Rick Davidson and Bill Thompson will present their new two-volume series, Buried New Hampshire: Graveyards Have Stories to Tell.
These books uncover hidden, poignant, and legendary stories behind the state’s intriguing burial sites—from European settlers and enslaved African Americans to Indigenous peoples, heroes, murder victims, murderers, artists, writers, and notable figures. Each tombstone reveals tales of valor, deep emotion, tragedy, or historical significance, spanning from the seacoast to the White Mountains and beyond. In the presentation, they will share selected captivating stories from both volumes.
