Gary Plourde won the 2025 WMWV 93.5 FM Song of the Year Contest with his original song Stepping Stone, and is currently recording an album of songs he wrote and composed. Whether original or cover songs, his style is gritty, heartfelt, and powered with authentic intensity. He recently performed at the Cold River Radio Show at the Majestic Theater in Conway, at Arts Jublilee Summer Concert Series at Cranmore Mountain, at Theater in the Wood Sunset Concert Series in Intervale, and at the Three Brewer’s music festival in St. Albans, England. Gary is also a regular performer at open mics throughout the Mount Washington Valley, including The Wildcat Tavern in Jackson, ProTunes in Glen, Chef’s Bistro in Conway Village, and Hayloft at Hobbs, among others. He will be joined by Jonno Deveneau on percussion and harmonica, James Holzrichter on bass guitar, and Andy Boutin playing lead guitar.

The Jackson Public Library is located at 52 Main Street. We are part of the town campus, right next to the town offices. JPL is situated on a lovely little hill with a large outdoor space including: a patio with a pergola, seasonal tent, gardens, and a year-round storywalk trail.
