Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Franciscans (But Were Afraid to Ask)

28 28 people viewed this event.

Who were Francis and Clare of Assisi? What compelled a privileged young man to embrace poverty—and joyfully so? Why did a teenage girl walk away from comfort and status to follow him? What does it mean to live as a Franciscan today? Join us for a dynamic and interactive hour exploring the radical lives, ministries, and enduring legacies of Francis and Clare. You’ll discover how their 13th-century vision continues to inspire a movement of simplicity, compassion, and kinship with creation.

This FREE program is presented by Reverend Walt Hampton, Franciscan brother, pastor, spiritual leader, and storyteller.
